This Refund and Returns Policy explains how returns, refunds, and exchanges work for purchases made on verdantwhisper.com. We strive to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase. Please read the following terms regarding return shipping costs carefully.
1) 30-Day Return Window
We accept return requests for eligible items within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible, items must be:
- Unworn, unused, and in original condition.
- Returned with original packaging and all included accessories.
- Free from signs of damage, alteration, or excessive wear.
- Items must be returned with the original Gemological Certificate (e.g., NGTC). If the certificate is missing or damaged, a re-certification fee of $30 will be deducted from the refund.
2) Return Shipping Cost
The responsibility for return shipping costs depends on the reason for the return:
A. Returns caused by the consumer (Change of Mind)
If the return is caused by the consumer (e.g., you ordered the wrong size, did not like the style, or simply changed your mind), the consumer is responsible for the shipping fee.
- The specific fee depends on the express company (courier) you choose to use for the return.
- Shipping costs paid for the original order (if any) are non-refundable.
B. Returns caused by our error (Defective or Incorrect Items)
If the goods received are damaged, defective, or incorrect due to our error, the consumer is not required to bear the shipping fee.
- We will reimburse your return shipping costs (up to a reasonable standard shipping rate) via your original payment method upon verification of the defective item.
3) Restocking Fee
- No restocking fee: We do not charge a restocking fee for returned items.
4) Non-Returnable Items
The following items are generally not eligible for return (unless defective or damaged on arrival):
- Final sale / clearance items (marked clearly as “Final Sale”)
- Customized or personalized items
- Gift cards
5) How to Start a Return

- Photos (Required if the item is damaged or defective)
We will review your request within 1-2 business days. If approved, please ship the item to the return address.

6) Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval status. If approved:
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method automatically.

- Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the refund to your account.
7) Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item, the fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have (following the rules above), and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
8) Order Cancellations
You may cancel your order within 12 hours of purchase for a full refund. Once the item has been shipped, the 30-day return policy applies.
